Volunteer and Community Service: As I strongly believe in the importance of giving back to make the world a better place, I have been involved in various community projects in Vietnam, Peru, and the US. I am interested in supporting marginalized groups of children, environmental protection, or non-communicable disease patients.

• 2022-2023: KU’s J-School Graduate Committee: I was serving as a member of the J-school Graduate Committee for the academic year 2022-2023
• 2020-2024: Kansas Scholastic Press Association, U: I judged the communication works of high school students in various strands such as news writing, video creation, and graphic design for different regional high school journalistic annual contests over the past few years (2020-2022)
• 2020: The Resilience Activist: I developed training materials for the course “Improving Natural Deficit Disorder.”
• 2016: Yanapay Project: During Christmas 2015, I worked as an international teaching assistant and group facilitator at a community school for marginalized children in Cusco, Peru
• 2012-2014: Vietnam Breast Cancer Network, Vietnam: I contributed to the translation of documents aimed at raising awareness of breast cancer
